Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning employee and maintain accurate, timely payroll operations across multiple states. The role handles weekly and semi-monthly payroll, audits outputs, and resolves complex payroll questions while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The position requires 3–5 years in payroll/finance, multi-state payroll processing, and a H.S. diploma/GED, with FPC/CPP preferred. Compensation includes hourly pay with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Three to five years of payroll and/or finance, accounting, or related field experience required.
• Multi-state payroll processing required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems to prepare weekly and semi-monthly payroll; updates earnings and deductions.
• Computes wage and overtime payments; records deductions; processes off-cycle payments.
• Answers complex payroll questions via email and phone; ensures compliance with policies.
• Audits earnings and deductions; reviews system outputs; prepares special reports for management.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Processes payroll for approximately 5,000 to 7,000 employees across multiple states.
