Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning employee and maintain timely, accurate payroll operations for 5,000–7,000 employees across multiple states. The role requires confidentiality and strong customer service as you handle payroll queries and complex issues.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in payroll/finance, multi-state processing, and a preference for FPC/CPP certification. This is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• 3–5 years of payroll and/or finance, accounting, or related field experience.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems to prepare weekly and semi-monthly payroll; updates earnings and deductions.
• Computes wages, overtime, deductions and processes off-cycle payments; handles overpayments.
• Responds to employee/management payroll questions via email/phone; ensures policy compliance.
• Audits earnings/deductions, reviews system outputs, and prepares reports for management.
