Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning employee and maintain critical payroll operations.

The role covers processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll for thousands of employees across multiple states, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll outputs. You will respond to complex payroll inquiries, audit earnings and deductions, and perform standard administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality of employee data.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of payroll/finance experience required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing required.
• FPC or CPP designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Input data to payroll systems to prepare Weekly and Semi-monthly payroll, updating earnings and deductions.
• Run pre-payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll output.
• Process wage and overtime payments, deductions, and off-cycle payments; handle overpayments and repayment agreements.
• Answer payroll questions from employees and management via email/phone; ensure policy compliance.
