Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning teammate and maintain accurate payroll operations for thousands of employees across multiple states.

The role emphasizes timely processing, data integrity, and confidentiality, with support from a collaborative payroll team. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in payroll or related fields, multi-state experience, and prefers FPC/CPP certification.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of payroll and/or finance, accounting, or related field experience required.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to computerized payroll systems to prepare weekly and semi-monthly payroll.
• Runs pre-payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll output.
• Processes payroll; calculates wages, overtime, deductions; handles off-cycle payments and repayments for overpayments.
• Answers payroll questions from employees and management via email and phone.
• Audits earnings and deductions; reviews system outputs and reports; prepares special reports for management.
