Job summary

TeamLogic IT in Richardson, TX is seeking an experienced MSP Level 3 Technician to provide advanced support for SMB clients, covering servers, networks, and software. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with project leadership in a dynamic IT environment.

You will mentor junior staff, manage network migrations, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with vendors to deliver reliable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT support, with 2+ years in Level 3 or senior tech roles.
• Experience MSP preferred; Bachelor’s in IT/CS preferred, with relevant certifications a plus.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Auvik, or similar; RMM tools like NinjaRMM and ticketing systems such as Autotask, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for a variety of IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.
• Design, implement, and manage robust network solutions; monitor performance and security.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades including patch management, backup and recovery, and monitoring.
• Maintain strong client relationships and recommend technology solutions to improve operations.
• Lead IT projects, including migrations, network installations, and deployments; coordinate with vendors.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for client environments, including diagrams and configurations.
• Provide training and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians; drive service quality.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity standards; conduct audits.
• Provide on-call support for emergencies, including after-hours and weekends.
