Job summary

TeamLogic IT is seeking a highly skilled Managed IT Services (MSP) Level 3 Technician to join our team, providing advanced IT support to SMB clients. You will troubleshoot complex issues, design robust networks, and lead projects from planning through deployment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT, strong communication, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, VMware, cloud platforms, and modern monitoring/ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of IT support experience, with at least two years in a Level 3 or senior technician role; MSP experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred; certifications such as Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or CCNA are a plus.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization, and Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices; experience with SolarWinds, Auvik, or similar monitoring tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools like NinjaRMM and ticketing systems such as Autotask PSA, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
• Experience in documentation using Hudu, IT Glue, or SharePoint with structured IT documentation and process standardization.
• Analytical and project‑management skills; must have managed IT projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must explain technical concepts to non‑technical clients.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to collaborate in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for servers, networks, and software applications; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
• Design, implement, and manage robust network solutions; monitor performance and take proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on client systems, including patch management, backup and recovery, and system monitoring to maintain security compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships, understand client needs, and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
• Lead IT projects, including system migrations, network installations, and software deployments; coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation: network diagrams, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
