Job summary

TeamLogic IT, Danbury, CT, is looking for a highly skilled MSP Level 3 Technician to deliver top-tier IT support to SMBs. You will troubleshoot complex issues, design and manage networks, and lead IT projects while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires extensive knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity, with strong communication and client service skills. Travel and after-hours work may be needed in a dynamic MSP environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in IT support, including 2 years in a Level 3 or senior technician role.
• MSP experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus (CompTIA Network+, Security+, Azure Administrator, CCNA).
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices; familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Auvik.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for servers, networks, and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues escalated from Level 1 and 2 technicians.
• Design, implement, and manage robust network solutions; monitor performance and security.
• Perform regular maintenance, patch management, backups, and system monitoring.
• Maintain strong client relationships and recommend technology solutions to meet needs.
• Lead IT projects including migrations, network installs, and software deployments.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for client environments and configurations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and 2 technicians; conduct training sessions.
