Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an experienced Principal Planner to drive supply chain strategy at a 250-year-old name brand leader in Rochester, NH.

The role oversees master scheduling, inventory planning, and release prioritization, coordinating with Operations and Manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing, strong MRP expertise, and familiarity with Oracle ASCP/Oracle EBS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification would be a plus.
• Proficiency with Oracle EBS/ASCP.
• Strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage critical supply chain deadlines aligned with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
• Drive accuracy of MRP signals to support seamless production and inventory flow.
• Partner with Operations and Production to resolve issues and keep manufacturing on track.
• Monitor schedules, track performance, and mitigate risks to delivery timelines.
• Identify end-of-life inventory and new product implementations for the program with no supervision.
• Leverage data from multiple systems to deliver analytics and insights to leadership.
• Act as a key escalation point within Planning, influencing decisions and driving cross-functional solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain performance.
• Provide guidance and training on Oracle ASCP to elevate planning capabilities.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards and safety/ISO procedures.
