Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is assisting a 250-year-old brand-name manufacturer in Rochester, NH to hire a Principal Planner for a 24/7 production facility. The role works across Operations to align master scheduling, inventory planning, and contractual commitments while advancing continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in global production, deep MRP knowledge, experience with Oracle ASCP, and APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years in a global production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong MRP planning signals expertise and policy compliance.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management concepts.
• APICS certification would be a plus.
• Experience with Oracle EBS/ASCP preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Rochester, NH with company assistance.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage critical supply chain deadlines aligned with customer expectations and contracts.
• Drive accuracy of MRP signals to support production and inventory flow.
• Partner with Operations and Production to resolve issues and keep manufacturing on track.
• Monitor schedules, track performance, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Identify end-of-life inventory and manage new product implementations.
• Leverage data to deliver analytics to leadership and train others on planning tools.
• Act as escalation point within Planning and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce costs and strengthen supply chain performance.
• Provide guidance on Oracle ASCP to elevate planning capabilities.
• Participate in 5S Standards and adhere to safety and ISO procedures.
