Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in Utah. You will lead MOT engineering efforts for transportation projects, collaborate with contractor partners, and guide design through pursuits and execution.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), 10+ years in MOT/traffic control designs, and 3+ years in DOT DB/PDB contexts, with strong client communication and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA

Responsibilities

• Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project delivery team
• Lead MOT design
• Work with contractor to develop MOT schemes during pursuits and final traffic control plans during project execution
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members
• Able to work on local and Rocky Mountain Region projects
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and management
• Meet project deadlines
• Grow personally and professionally with each project
