Job summary

Horrocks Engineers is seeking a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team to advance transportation projects across the Mountain West. This role offers the opportunity to lead multi-discipline MOT efforts, collaborate with contractors, and drive design and execution excellence.

You will direct MOT schemes for freeways, interchanges and shared-use facilities, mentor engineers, and coordinate with prime partners.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
• 10+ years of leading MOT/traffic control designs for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
• Organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project delivery team
• Lead MOT design development and execution
• Work with contractor partners to develop MOT schemes and final traffic control plans
