Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in Utah. You will lead MOT engineering teams for transportation projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and work with contractor partners from pursuits to project execution.

The role requires a current PE license (UT preferred) and 10+ years leading MOT/traffic control designs, plus 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience. Strong client communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states: UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years of leading MOT/traffic control designs for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain positive client relationships.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation projects and pursuits.
• Coordinate with discipline leads and work as part of the project delivery team.
• Lead MOT design and work with contractor partners during pursuits and execution.
• Collaborate on design development using Microstation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure project deadlines are met.
