Job summary
Horrocks Engineers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager to drive MOT design and project delivery on transportation projects across the Mountain West region. You will lead engineering teams, coordinate with discipline leads, and work with contractor partners to develop MOT schemes and final traffic control plans.
The role requires a current PE license and 10+ years of MOT/traffic control design leadership, with strong communication and team-building skills.
Qualifications
- Current PE license; preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
- 10+ years leading MOT/traffic control design for infrastructure projects.
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
- Ability to lead teams and maintain client relationships.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation projects and pursuits.
- Coordinate with discipline leads and integrate design work.
- Be an integral member of the project delivery team.
- Lead MOT design and collaborate with contractors on schemes.
- Develop MOT schemes during pursuits and traffic control plans during execution.
- Utilize Microstation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.
- Maintain positive team and client relationships and meet deadlines.
