Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a seasoned Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to lead tooling and mold process improvements for plastic injection. You will coordinate engineering changes, support product development, and collaborate with global CoE molding to optimize standards and costs.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, CAD/CAE proficiency, and strong leadership. Expect travel up to 50% and engagement in PFMEAs, control plans, and continuous improvement initiatives for high‑quality

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Or related field required.
• 5-10 years in a similar position, minimum.
• Personnel management skills required.
• Proficient in CAD/CAE tools and MS Office.
• Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (85%).
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of tools and mold processes to support new products.
• Coordinate engineering changes to injection molds and provide training on processes and systems.
• Collaborate with CoE molding to update operating standards and control plans.
• Lead PFMEAs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support plant launches, including documentation and process tracking.
• Analyze tool capacities and participate in cost reduction efforts.
• Provide coaching on root cause analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Travel up to 50% for project support.
