Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer in the Raleigh, NC area to develop, optimize, and sustain injection-molding focused processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role reports to Manufacturing Engineer Manager and involves hands-on troubleshooting, DFMEA, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, experience with injection molding and lean/Six Sigma, and strong project-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with injection molding, overmolding, insert molding, or similar molding processes.
• Knowledge of process troubleshooting, statistical analysis, and root cause methodologies.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and OEE.
• Analyze process performance and identify opportunities to reduce scrap, downtime, and cycle times.
• Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production and quality issues.
• Support injection molding operations including process development, validation, and optimization.
• Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
