Precision Talent Partners, LLC seeks a Molding Process Engineering Manager to lead a multi-shift team in a high-growth medical device manufacturing setting. You will drive injection molding process development, validation, and standardization while partnering across Quality, Tooling, and Manufacturing to elevate product quality.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, and ongoing improvements in OEE and process capability within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of injection molding experience with process development and optimization.
Proven leadership experience managing engineers and/or technical teams.
Strong expertise in scientific molding and data-driven process control.
Deep knowledge of molding equipment, tooling, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

Lead injection molding process development, optimization, and standardization using scientific molding principles.
Own process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), mold trials, and production readiness.
Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting complex molding, tooling, and automation challenges.
Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Tooling, Manufacturing, and NPI teams.
Drive improvements in OEE, downtime reduction, and overall operational performance.
Lead capital equipment evaluation, selection, and implementation.
Establish standardized process documentation, setup sheets, and control plans.
Support quality investigations, CAPAs, and process-related defect resolution.
Serve as a technical interface with customers regarding molding processes.
