Job summary

Plastic Molding Technology, a leader in precision plastic parts, seeks an engineer to manage molds and tooling for injection molding and thermoforming. The role involves designing molding components to enhance tooling performance, maintaining tool storage, and coordinating tool movement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical plastics engineering background, 0–4 years in related roles, and strong GD&T and tooling knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3 lines detailing must-have: Technical plastics engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–4 years in an engineering role supporting injection molding (tooling, quality, design, manufacturing, etc.).
• GD&T knowledge and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage molds and tooling for injection molding and thermoforming manufacturing process.
• Design and develop molding components to assist with maintaining or enhancing performance of tooling.
• Organize and maintain tool storage activities and tool movement processes.
