AMETEK, a leading global industrial technology company, is seeking a Tooling Engineer specializing in Injection Molding to manage tool design, build, and development. You will lead projects to improve quality, reduce cost, and enhance process stability while collaborating across multiple functions and with customers, suppliers, and plants.

The role requires hands-on problem-solving, strong communication, and a drive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication required.
Ability to work as part of a cross functional team.
Ability to work in a team oriented, continuous improvement environment.
PC skills, problem solving, and SPC skills required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong follow-up skills and independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

Lead tooling design reviews with cross functional teams to meet customer and plant requirements.
Debug and groom tools to meet quality and manufacturing standards.
Track tool performance for cost, quality, and delivery against quotes.
Coordinate continuous improvement actions and root cause analyses.
Support day-to-day production floor tooling activities.
Train others when competency is demonstrated.
