Job summary

FleetPride, the nation's largest distributor of heavy-duty parts, is seeking a Mobile Technician III in Fontana, CA to master preventive maintenance on all vehicle systems and train other technicians. You will perform major repairs, advanced diagnostics, and component replacements, and work in the shop between service calls.

This role may include after-hours on-call rotations. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, hands-on welding, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions to customers.
• Maintain 80% productivity in the shop environment.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, lubrication, and filters.
• Repair brakes, suspension, diesel and gasoline engines.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures.
