Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on all vehicle systems and to train other technicians. The role involves diagnostics, advanced repairs, and working in the shop between service calls, with a possible on‑call rotation.

Requirements include 7+ years of heavy‑duty truck/trailer repair, welding ability, and air‑brake certification, plus tools and a valid license. CDL Class A preferred. Exposures include extreme temperatures and loud environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus.
• Must have or be eligible for CDL Class A and a valid driver’s license.
• Provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox; maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to assess damage or malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance and oil changes; routine service.
• Train new technicians on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and service truck.
• Repair brakes, suspension, and drive components; weld as needed.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems; ensure proper operation.
