Job summary

FleetPride is the nation’s largest distributor of heavy-duty parts and service, seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on vehicle systems and train other technicians. The role includes performing advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and component replacements, with shop work between service calls and potential after-hours on-call rotation.

You will examine vehicles, provide preventive maintenance solutions, and train new shop staff on procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience.
• Training experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions, whenever appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity.
