Job summary

Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing is seeking an intermediate Fleet Technician in Fontana, CA. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment, conduct inspections, road tests, and document services while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-Secondary vocational education strongly preferred.
• 4 years’ experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field.
• Must have valid Class B Driver’s License.
• Advanced knowledge of Heavy-Duty Electrical systems and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Determin es vehicle condition by conducting Preventive Maintenance Inspections and oil changes.
• Perform service calls and repairs at customer locations.
• Repair, replace, and adjust components across major systems.
• Verify performance with test drives and documentation of services.
