Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to perform preventative maintenance, complex diagnostics, and advanced repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role includes on-call rotation and shop work between service calls, with emphasis on training peers and ensuring quality workmanship.

Required 7+ years in class 7/8 truck repair, diagnostic skills, and工具handling; a high school diploma or GED is required, CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Tech certificate/degree a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience.
• Welding Air Brake Certification.
• Valid driver’s license required; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions to customers.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes; test drive and diagnose components.
