Job summary

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. The Mobile Technician III role involves mastering preventive maintenance, performing advanced diagnostics, and training other technicians.

You will also work in the shop between service calls and may participate in on-call rotations. Candidates should have 7+ years of repair experience on class 7 & 8 trucks, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), welding skills, and air brake certification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years repairing class 7–8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience and ability to train others.
• Welding experience and air brake knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Provide preventive maintenance solutions to customers.
• Train new service shop employees on procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and replacements.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose system issues.
