Job summary

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. The Mobile Technician III role is to master preventive maintenance, perform advanced diagnostics, and train other technicians.

The position involves shop work between service calls and may include after-hours on-call rotations at Ocala, FL. Qualified candidates will have 7+ years in class 7 & 8 truck repair, diesel tech training, and a valid CDL- A is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions, whenever appropriate.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation or delivery to customers.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
