Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on vehicle systems, diagnose failures, and perform advanced repairs. In addition to shop work, you may participate in after‑hour on‑call rotations for the location.

The role requires extensive experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to train other technicians. High school diploma or GED is expected; Diesel Tech certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel technology background plus diagnostic experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage and maintenance needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with proper tools.
• Train new shop employees on procedures and safety.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and service truck.
• Practice safe driving and on‑site safety protocols.
