Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is hiring Mobile Diesel Technician II for on-site and mobile fleet support. You will perform DOT inspections, routine maintenance, and diagnostic work across a range of trucks and trailers.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and preventative maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems on trucks and trailers.
• Adherence to safety regulations and DOT/FMCSA rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect trailers and perform necessary repairs and replacements.
• Document work and upload RO details using company TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and compliance with company policies.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

ASE T8 (PMI) certification
