Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You’ll work on light to heavy-duty vehicles with supervision for advanced diagnostics and repairs.

The role requires ASE certifications, a valid DOT medical card, and flexibility to work evenings in a remote-capable role. On-site safety and compliance are emphasized, with company truck upkeep and client communication responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months.
• A current and valid DOT medical card with more than four (4) months remaining.

Aufgaben

• Perform DOT inspections, PM, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and organize parts inventory and service truck.
• Complete RO documentation and communicate with supervisors for approvals.
