Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose complex systems, manage parts in the service truck, and document findings through our TRAIT app.

The role requires 3+ years of related field experience, DOT compliance, and a valid driver’s license; ASE certifications are preferred. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 3 years’ related field experience (or 5 years’ experience).
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to verify proper operation after service.
