Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose complex issues, document with the TRAIT app, and coordinate with customers and management on repair needs.

Responsibilities include lead role on jobsites, maintaining a service truck, and adhering to DOT/FMCSA regulations while delivering high-quality service to fleets nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or related discipline) with relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Document work using company iOS TRAIT app and complete DOT forms promptly.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Interact with customers to assess needs and communicate findings clearly.
