Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to service fleets on-site in a mobile/field role. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs while triaging complex issues for customers.

The role requires basic ASE or DOT compliance knowledge, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting with a flexible schedule, including Sunday through Wednesday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with related field experience.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory knowledge or eligibility for DOT prerequisites.
• 3+ years of experience in fleet/equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections and repairs on mobile fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, cooling, braking, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose residual issues.
• Document work with RO, photos and accurate reporting.
