Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and document findings via TRAIT on an iOS device.

Lead on jobsites and coordinate parts and safety compliance. Applicants should have 5+ years in the field, ASE certifications preferred, a valid DOT and Driver’s license, and the ability to work independently across a mobile fleet network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in related field; 7–10 years preferred
• Experience with refrigerated equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT screening

Responsibilities

• Perform PM inspections and DOT inspections on fleets in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Test, road-test, and document findings on RO using TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and scheduling independently.
• Ensure safety and DOT compliance in all tasks.
