Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced diagnostics in a mobile/field setting. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication with clients and management.

Responsibilities include repairing electrical, braking, and cooling systems on light to heavy-duty vehicles, road testing, and meticulous documentation using the TRAIT app.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years' related experience; alternative combinations may be accepted.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own set of hand tools to perform duties; ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine electronics, and fuel systems; operate with diesel equipment.
• Test and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Document findings, parts used, and RO details via iOS TRAIT app and upload photos.
• Obtain parts from approved vendors and communicate repair estimates with management.
