Job summary

Cox Fleet in Harrisburg operates a mobile maintenance team, seeking a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and complex repairs on trucks and trailers.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, manage parts on a company truck, and document findings using the TRAIT app. A HS diploma and ASE certifications are required, with on-the-job training for T8 and 608/609.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years in related field, or alternative higher education/experience.
• Must obtain ASE T8 within 18 months; 608/609 within 18 months.
• DOT compliance knowledge and ability to pass DOT medical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Document work orders with photos using TRAIT app.
• Independently manage parts inventory and schedule.
• Provide on-site consultation and communicate with customers.
