Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and engine systems and work as the lead on jobsites for customers and technicians.

The role requires ensuring safety, compliance with DOT/FMCSA, and thorough documentation of work performed using company tools and TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) and 608/609 certifications required within 18 months.
• DOT medical card or pass DOT physical; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on mobile fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair and test electrical/engine systems on trucks.
• Inspect and road test vehicles; document findings on RO via TRAIT app.
• Manage parts on the service truck and liaise with customers.
