Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile field environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems while managing parts on the service truck and documenting findings in the TRAIT app.

Lead on jobsites, liaise with customers, and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA standards. Weekly pay, benefits, and training support are part of the offered package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• Must pass DOT physical pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT Inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems on diesel trucks.
• Maintain service truck, manage parts inventory, and document findings using the TRAIT app.
• Collaborate with customers and management to ensure accurate estimates and timely repairs.
