Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced diagnostics in a mobile setting. You will lead on-site repairs, manage parts and tool usage, and work closely with clients to ensure high service levels.

The role demands strong diagnostic capabilities, experience with heavy equipment, and strict adherence to DOT regulations. Company trucks, safety gear, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience performing DOT inspections and preventative maintenance in a mobile/field setting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair light, medium and heavy-duty truck systems.
• Must maintain safety standards and comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on fleet vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings in Repair Orders using TRAIT app.
