Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs on light to heavy trucks in a mobile environment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems and document work via iOS and TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years in related field, or equivalent with more experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and ability to pass DOT pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on light to heavy duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and document work with RO in TRAIT system.
• Coordinate with customers and management for approvals and estimates.
