Cox Fleet in the United States is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. Lead on-site diagnostics and triage, with a focus on heavy-duty and specialized equipment.

Qualifications include HS diploma/GED with 3+ years in related field, experience with refrigerated equipment, and DOT regulatory compliance. Strong communication and safety-minded approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with at least 3 years in a related field; or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations and DOT medical card requirements.
• Minimum 21 years old due to interstate regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DQ File.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck supplies.
• Document work including RO photos and findings via TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with management for repair estimates and approvals.
