Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light through heavy‑duty trucks in a field/mobile environment. Lead on sites and provide high‑quality repairs while following safety standards.

You will document work via iOS devices, coordinate parts, and work with customers to resolve issues promptly. Competitive pay, bonuses, and benefits are offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years in related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT eligibility and ability to pass DOT checks; valid CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on mobile fleet; complete repairs.
• Diagnose electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems in trucks.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles; document findings.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck; use RO docs.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain due documentation.
• Communicate with management for approvals on repairs.
