Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment across light to heavy-duty vehicles.

The role demands strong diagnostics, electrical, and mechanical skills, with leadership on jobsites. Responsibilities include documenting RO findings via TRAIT on an iOS device, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a service truck and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 5 years related experience, or alternative with 3–7 years in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in the field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/braking/cooling and engine systems.
• Document work and upload RO details using TRAIT app.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts and schedule to meet productivity targets.
• Adhere to DOT and safety regulations in all tasks.
