Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and service light to heavy-duty trucks, operate with a high degree of independence, and liaise with customers as a lead technician on jobsites.

The role requires a HS Diploma/GED or higher and 3+ years in the field, plus ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 3 years’ related field experience, or 5 years’ related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on trucks.
• Document findings and repairs using company-issued devices and RO forms.
