Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to service light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and complex diagnostics while maintaining parts inventory and safety standards.

The role emphasizes independent scheduling, strong communication with customers, and adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations. Prior ASE certifications are preferred; 50+ service centers nationwide support field work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3+ years in related field (or 5 years experience).
• Experience with refrigerated equipment is preferred.
• Must supply hand tools required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation and safety.
