Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, manage parts on the go, and document work using TRAIT on an iOS device.

The role requires DOT compliance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently at customer sites, with strong diagnostic and communication skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• DOT compliance and safety regulations knowledge.
• Effective diagnostic and repair skills for diesel systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment and TRAIT app.
• Must meet DOT pre-employment requirements and have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, repair and adjust electrical, brake, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Document work in RO using iOS and TRAIT application and upload photos.
