Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mission Engineering Analyst in San Diego to develop multi-domain simulations using AFSIM and integrate Leidos software within the framework. You will work with SMEs, engineers, and analysts to create advanced models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and validate outcomes.

You will apply object-oriented programming to enhance scalability, analyze results, and communicate findings to stakeholders. A TS clearance and US citizenship are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably with AFSIM.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
• US citizenship with a Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop models of multi-domain systems of systems and software in mission-level simulations using AFSIM.
• Create advanced models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and perform validation.
• Apply OO programming to enhance scalability and extensibility.
• Analyze simulation results to inform decisions in real-world contexts.
• Collaborate with SMEs, software engineers, and analysts across Leidos.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Document development processes and share knowledge.
• Stay current with AFSIM advancements.
• Prepare technical presentations for stakeholders.
