Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Mission Engineering Analyst to develop high‑fidelity, multi‑domain simulations using AFSIM, integrating Leidos software with DoD mission needs. You will model space, air, maritime, and ground systems, and collaborate with SMEs and engineers to produce actionable analysis and recommendations.

The role requires strong programming skills (Python/MATLAB), deep military operations knowledge, and a proven track record in agile practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related field.
4+ years of modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably using AFSIM.
Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
Deep understanding of military operations at mission/campaign level.
Expertise in modeling military systems in multiple domains.
Familiarity with Agile DevSecOps practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration with Customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop models of multi-domain systems of systems using AF SIM for mission-level simulations.
Create advanced models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and their behaviors.
Apply Object-Oriented Programming to enhance M&S scalability.
Analyze simulation results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with SMEs, software engineers, and analysts across Leidos.
