Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science with 12+ years of relevant experience; a Master's with 10+ years is also acceptable.
• 7+ years in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably using AFSIM.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
• US citizenship with a Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible.
• Willingness to work 50% in office at specified locations (Arlington, Reston, Huntsville, Beavercreek, San Diego).

Responsibilities

• Develop models of multi-domain systems of systems using AFSIM.
• Create models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and their behaviors.
• Apply Object‑Oriented Programming to maximize M&S scalability.
• Analyze simulation results to communicate system effectiveness in real-world contexts.
• Collaborate with SMEs, software engineers, and analysts to maximize productivity.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Document model development processes, results, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AFSIM capabilities.
• Assist in creating technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
