Job summary

SECU in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Member Services Officer to manage branch operations, resolve member issues, and evaluate loan applications. The role includes mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting cash handling and account maintenance across channels.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification.
• Strong lending decisioning ability within assigned limits.
• Experience with consumer lending and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answer member questions and resolve issues across service channels.
• Evaluate loan applications and approve/deny within limits.
• Train and mentor other staff members.
• Balance cash drawer and assist in daily reconciliation.
• Process wires and maintain accounts for new members.
• Research and resolve member complaints with care.
