Job summary

SECU, State Employees' Credit Union, is hiring a Senior Member Services Representative in Monroe, NC. You will apply broad MSR knowledge, train teammates, and mentor newer staff to ensure excellent member experiences.

Responsibilities include cash handling, balance of vaults, customer service across channels, and ensuring compliance with credit union policies while promoting SECU products and services.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree or CCUE certification or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Effective listener and communicator.
• Excellent balancing record with no gross balancing violations in the prior 6 months.
• Complete required quarterly training courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, order, and verify cash delivery and shipments.
• Balance the vault, ATMs, teller cash dispenser, and coin sorter.
• Greet and assist members across service channels – in-person, phone, and digital.
• Train MSRs and mentor less experienced staff.
• Educate members on products and services and provide referrals.
• Resolve member complaints and resolve member requests.
