Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer in Asheboro, NC. You will support daily branch operations and deliver exemplary member service through in‑person, phone, and digital channels.

You will handle routine tasks such as cash handling, account origination, and maintenance while starting training in lending and collections. This role offers growth through completing program curricula and advancing within SECU.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred – AA/AS or CCUE via NC-CTP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member trust.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person or by phone.
• Handle cash drawer with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Explain and help with basic account openings and maintenance.
• Learn lending and collections aspects at this level.
• Follow SECU policies and regulatory requirements.
